Email updates

When you sign up, we save your email address, optional first name, signup date, and your permission to receive SJS Homemade marketing emails. We use this information for candle drops, new scents, and special offers. We do not sell your email address. Scott can export the list to an email marketing service to send these updates.

Unsubscribe

Use the unsubscribe link in a marketing email, or ask Scott at sjshomemade1@gmail.com to remove you. Every campaign must include an unsubscribe link.

Testimonials

We save your display name and message when you give permission to share a testimonial. Scott reviews submissions before publication. To request removal, contact Scott by email.

Gift inquiries

When you request closing or holiday gifts, we store your name, brokerage, reply email, requested quantity, needed-by date, and message so Scott can respond and prepare a quote. Submitting an inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails.

Order payments

For online and custom orders, we store your candle choices, name, email, pickup or delivery address and arrangements, subtotal, Stripe checkout reference, and payment status. We share order and address information with Stripe to process payment and calculate tax. Stripe handles card details on its secure checkout page. We do not store card numbers. Your payment link is private to anyone who has the link; share it only with the intended customer. Order records are separate from marketing signup, and payment does not subscribe you to marketing emails.

Website analytics

This website uses Google Analytics to understand visits and improve the shopping experience. Google review links take you to Google, which has its own privacy practices.

Google reviews

When connected, this website retrieves public ratings and reviews using Google Maps Platform. Review author photos load from Google when displayed. We do not save copies of Google reviews. Google handles your activity when you follow a Google review or profile link. See Google’s Privacy Policy and our website terms.
